Mondo's annual Tech and Digital Marketing Salary guide found “Web Developer” was the most in-demand job title in tech and one of its top-paying jobs. And, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, the job market for Web Developers is expected to grow 15 percent by 2026. So if you are planning to start web development in 2023, here are some tips that you should follow in your learning journey :)
Follow a Roadmap
There are various Roadmaps available in the market. I am attaching the links for some famous ones. Choose one of them and stick to it, moving from one to another will not help you.

No need to go deep
It is a very common problem with beginners that when they start, they try to get deep into every concept. But you should only learn the basics about that concept. You will learn the concepts deeply later when you actually need them. Learn the concepts, do some practice and move ahead to the next topic.
No Need to remember Every Concept
Again its a very common problem with beginners that they think that they have to remember everything and every topic for becoming good in web development but believe me this is your myth. There is no need to remember every topic, you just need to remember the basic syntax for starting the new project. You can always take help from online resources and cheat sheets for knowing the syntax.
Googling
For developers, Googling is a must-have skill. It can assist you in searching for a solution to a problem or error. You should not copy the whole code or solution but you can google the things like syntax, tags, CSS properties, etc.
Use Developer Tools For Better Design
There are a lot of tools and websites available for helping developers to make awesome designs. These tools can give you some best things like images, icons, color palettes, gradients, good-looking shapes, illustrations, etc. I am attaching a link to a good collection of these resources which you can use.

Learn Frameworks For Ease
After learning basic pure CSS and making some projects with pure CSS, start using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and tailwind. After learning JS, use frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React. Also, you may be confused that how much JavaScript you should learn before starting React. So here I am attaching some links for knowing those concepts so you can start learning React after learning those concepts.

Take Desing Inspiration
It is good to learn UI design, but it is not necessary. You may be very bad at making design layouts. But you should understand that, in most jobs, as a web developer, your task is to only replicate Figma design, designed by UI designers. So you should be good at writing structured and semantic code for the website. At learning time, you can take design inspiration from the various templates available online.
Don't get stuck in tutorial hell
As a developer, you should not spend much time watching tutorials; instead, you should code & practice more by yourself. You can take help from documentation instead of sticking in tutorial hell.
Do Practice By Making Projects
The best way to practice what you learned, is by making projects. Whenever you learn a new concept, make a small project using that concept and you will get better at it.
Learn In Community/ Share Your Learning
Always share your new learnings and projects you made in the community so that others can know more about you and your skills and give feedback on your work. This can take you to new heights in your career.
So these are some tips from my side if you are going to start Web Development in 2023......Happy Learning! 🚀🚀
